World Chamber Of Commerce Welcomes Ambassador Lutz Görgens As New President And Honors Consul Roma Klicius As President Emeritus
The World Chamber of Commerce (WCC) proudly announces the appointment of the Honorable Ambassador Lutz Görgens, former Ambassador of Germany in Port-of-Spain, as its new President.
Ambassador Görgens succeeds Roma Klicius, distinguished Consul of Lithuania, who will continue to serve as President Emeritus.
In recognition of his exceptional leadership and dedication, Ambassador Görgens, a highly respected diplomat with an illustrious career in foreign service, brings to the World Chamber of Commerce decades of experience in international relations, global policy, and cross-cultural dialogue. His vision emphasizes diplomacy, sustainable economic growth, and the fostering of global partnerships that advance prosperity.
“Ambassador Görgens embodies the values of diplomacy and innovation that define the World Chamber of Commerce,” said Solange Warner, Chairman of the World Chamber of Commerce. “His vision of diplomacy will enhance the WCC’s mission and strengthen business collaboration.”
In his acceptance for the new role, Ambassador Görgens said: “It is a delight to serve as President of the World Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to supporting the WCC initiatives, fostering collaboration among nations, and advancing economic growth that uplifts communities worldwide.”
The World Chamber of Commerce also extended its sincere appreciation to Consul Roma Klicius for her years of service as President. Under her leadership, the WCC expanded its partnerships, and elevated business alliances.
“President Klicius’ legacy continues to inspire our mission,” added Solange Warner, “We are deeply grateful and are honored to have her continue as President Emeritus.”
