The National Center for Civil and Human Rights invites you to join “Courageous Steps: Bridging the Divide for Equality,” a one-night-only theatrical performance, honoring the 70th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education through storytelling, song, and dance during Power to Inspire 2024. Written and directed by acclaimed playwright, Nikki Toombs, this multimedia presentation follows several students as they grapple with the impact of Brown v. Board of Education today.
This year’s host is Emmy Award winner and comedian extraordinaire, Roy Wood, Jr., renowned for his wit and humor on “The Daily Show.”
