    The Consulate of Turkey in Georgia:
     
    Dear Friends:
     
    It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the 7.8 earthquake that hit southeastern Turkey last night.
     
    As Hon. Consul General for Turkey in Georgia, I send my deepest condolences to  those in Turkey who are dealing with this great tragedy. 
     
    Many of you have asked how you can help. Be assured the Turkish community appreciates your concern and interest.
     
     The American Turkish Friendship Council here in Atlanta is organizing a fundraiser to help the over 3,000 victims of the earthquake. Funds will be sent to the needy through AHBAP Platformu. One Hundred percent of the funds donated will go to help the victims recover from the earthquake’s devastating effects. 
     
    I reach out to all of you and ask if you would consider contributing to AHBAP Platformu. No amount is too large or too small.
