World Chamber of Commerce Membership Benefits:

  • Provide marketing and educational opportunities for members through International Trade Seminars Series, Networking and othe successful events.  The only fee involved with this service is the WCC membership, and events fee. The Sponsorship is optional. 
  • WCC International Trade Process: This is a complementary service to WCC members and companies looking to expand internationally.  
  • Exposure to international purchasing power economies, thus creating global economic development:
  • WCC proactively approaches international trade organizations and businesses promoting WCC members/companies. 
    The WCC members offer complementary initial advice to international companies looking to penetrate the American market. WCC members will benefit by the exposure with international companies.
    First ITP stage for International Businesses: International companies or organizations will forward request to the WCC Facilitation Committee (WCC FC). They will process and qualifying the request. Then, they will forward it to the appropriate internal Industry Committee Chairs (i. e., Real Estate Committee, Relocation Committee, and others). 
  • The WCC FC is a centralized source for referring companies with international trade inquiries.  
  • Members of the WCC F.C. work at the U.S. Department of Commerce/Commercial Office, the GDEcD, UGA International Trade Office and other highly qualified organizations. 
    Second ITP Stage:  Specific Committee will assist the company with an initial international trade request, providing  general information and resources. 

  • Additional Benefits:
  • Addtionally, newsletter, Web sites sponsorship, and other marketing avenues.
  • Reinforce Chamber’s role in the region through cooperation with Governmental offices such as U.S. Department of Commerce, Georgia Department of Economic Development, University of Georgia International Department, and other International Chambers of Commerce.
  • Enhance the strength of the Chamber through recruitment and retention of member/investors
  • Sponsor relevant international education programs, with a focus on business and entrepreneurship
  • Engage elected officials in international issues and Economic Development Partnership
  • Provide leadership on International issues, seeking to improve dialogue and cooperation with International Governmental entities
  • Engaged representatives on boards and committees with International goals
  • Discover the benefits of cultural and social exchange with an international market.
  • Actively participates in groups with International missions
  • Increase dialogue with legislators and business leaders throughout the state, increasing awareness of common international issues and gaining understanding of international differences
  • Expand relationships with National, local, county, regional and state civic, elected groups and leaders by increased Board and staff interaction
